PARDSS FII Helps Keep The Nation Safe

share

Non-governmental organizations are instrumental in conducting campaigns against criminality and terrorism.  In the proper manner, they help in the country’s fight against lawlessness, illegal drugs, illegal gambling, and extend rescue during calamities and emergencies.

The PARDSS FII is among the strongest and largest force multiplier accredited with the Association of Chiefs of Police of the Philippines, Inc..  Said NGO was founded by President Arcie Fabon in April 2013.

President Fabon (or Pres RC) used to work for the Office of the Ombudsman in 2003 and was the Head Coordinator of Medical Instruments of Mercury Drug in the NCR Area in 2OO6. Her experiences both in public service and in promoting health and wellness were put to good use in her community works.

In 2006, she was the Secretary of the Federation of PNP Accredited NGO based in Camp Crame until 2006.

An organization which she co-founded and was Vice President for Administration was the Peace Action and Rescue with Dedication to Serve the Society from April 2006 to April 2013.

In April 21, 2013, she founded the Public Assistance for Rescue, Disaster and Support Services Foundation International Inc. (PARDSS FII).  It is duly registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission and a well-respected anti-crime organization in the country.

Under the able leadership of President Fabon, members of the organization are proactively helping law enforcement agencies in creating communities that are free from crime and violence.  It has thousands (and still growing) number of members, with almost 300 Chapters nationwide and abroad.

“Nire-recognize ng PNP ang PARDSS Foundation dahil kasama nila kami sa kanilang kampanya kontra-krimen at kontra-droga. Ang bawat Chapter ay ini-endorse namin sa Chief of Police ng kanilang lugar. Dahil dito ay nagiging katuwang ng ating mga pulis ang PARDSS Foundation members sa pagmonitor at gathering of information”, says President Fabon.

Their other activities include relief and rescue operations, feeding programs, assisting communities of indigenous people, organizing medical and dental missions, and distributing school supplies and shoes to less fortunate students.

Recently, its members volunteered in the clean-up of Manila Bay, conducted basic lecture on Traffic Rules and Proper Arresting Seminar, turned-over a tricycle for patrol purposes, and continues to support the Global PCR activities of the PNP-Police Community Relations Group.

PARDSS FII is likewise the chosen beneficiary of the PNP Responders during the UNTV CUP Executive Face Off, which received the cash winning from UNTV37 Foundation Inc. “No words can express how lucky we are at proud po kami na mapili nilang beneficiary sa advocacy na ito.  Nagpapasalamat kami sa Diyos sa biyayang ito. Sila Bro. Eli Soriano at Bro Sonny Razon ang mga naging instrumento kaya nagkaroon ng UNTV Charity Basketball League.  Ito ang kasagutan para magkaroon ng silong ang aming samahan”.

Part of the prize was used for community service operations and procurement of rescue equipment, springboards, and first aid kits.  “Salamat po sa PNP Responsers at sana mabigyan pa kayo ng lakas na magampanan ang inyong tungkulin sa PNP at sa inyong pamilya.  Maraming salamat din po kay PCRG Director na si General Rhodel Sermonia.”

Currently, PARDSS FII is into the construction of its National Headquarters called “HOME” on a 103 square meters of lot in Taytay, Rizal. Hopefully, they may be able to procure an ambulance soon and do more projects to benefit more Filipinos.

Mendira.net being its media partner, congratulates PARDSS FII in celebration of its 6th Anniversary on April 14, 2019 at the PNP Multi-Purpose Center in Camp Crame, Quezon City.  This will be attended by its officers, members, government and police officials, and other guests supportive of PARDSS FII.

More power PARDSS FII and President Arcie Fabon!
