Cliché PH Takes The Final Bow
Talks are circulating lately on Cliché PH. Feelers are posted on social media of this band taking the backseat for a while err… permanent.
Cliché PH is an alternative rock band composed of young teens, who are into their healthy transition to adulthood. Clearly, that answers why they have to leave the music scene as a band to focus more on their education. Right now, they are striking a balance between school, love for music, the performing arts, and faith in God.
As Cliché PH, these teens allow their voices be heard and it’s not surprising that they are stepping up to their game as the next generation of music superstars – all six consisting of Francine Kelsy Cabrera (Vocalist), Dan Matthew Redondo (Lead Guitarist), Aaron Miguel Damasco (Keyboardist), Aaron Charles Salire (Rhythm Guitarist), Marcus Paolo Bustarde (Bassist), and Ronald Jade Raveche (Drummer)
Cliché PH is relatively new to the music scene, but these younsters have already composed and recorded their first single “Tabing Dagat” . The song about love, pain, and hope. Listening to its lyrics is enough to strike an arrow straight to the heart. It is about someone so caring and yet getting hurt in return.
“Isang ngiti ang bakas sa labi mo, Oh, tunay nga ba ito? Hawak kamay kayong naglalakad sa harapan ko, muling nakaramdam ng kirot sa aking puso kaya tahan na, wala na ba?Awat na, di nalang itutuloy pa, i-iiyak na lang ang lahat, isisigaw sa may tabing dagat, titigil na dahil masaya ka na, Sa piling niya…”
Their “Tabing Dagat” lyric video has gained thousands of views and growing, with 200+ subscribers on their YouTube channel. These are already milestones for a band with a promising future ahead. The credit is not theirs alone, attributing success to their families, relatives, friends, classmates who help promote their first single and never cease to give support, “ Most especially to our Lord God who gave us these blessings and opportunities to be a part of this music scene”, says Cliché PH.
The official music video was posted on Valentine’s Day with a message “The long wait is over! Eto na yung matagal niyo nang hinihiling sa amin hahaha. Eto na rin yung huling regalo namin para sa inyo bago kami mawala. Muli, maraming salamat sa inyong lahat! Mahal namin kayo!”
On February 21, 2020, Cliché PH will perform their swan song and take the final bow at Musikapihan in Imus, Cavite. “May tanong lang kami hahaha. Sinong makakapunta sa last gig namin? Gusto lang namin malaman kung ilang tao yung papaiyakin namin sa last gig namin hahaha”.
Well, it brings us tears to know that Cliché PH may have to leave the music scene. But on a lighter note, we may still see them back as a band during special performances and a reunion concert may soon be in the works.
But we are also praying that in a few year – they will all have grown up to be inspiring Christians and professionals in their own field. “Tabing Dagat” is Cliché PH at their best, just as they have won hundreds of hearts with their God given talents.
And as these teens would say, “God bless y’all! :))”
