Dan Matthew Redondo is a young music artist constantly bringing positivity into the lives of others.
On social media, he gains thousands of views and hundreds of shares just by strumming his guitar or going on Facebook Live to greet his friends this time of ECQ. And he remains humble.
He’d address friends online – “Sige na guys… tanungin niyo ako kahit ano”. This endeared him more to his followers. Wholesome as he is, Dan sets a good example for the youth.

“Ang tawag ng mga kaibigan ko sa akin ay Dan or Matt. Isa akong aspiring musician. Minsan mahiyain pero madalas mahilig makisalamuha sa mga tao lalo na sa social media. Simpleng tao pero medyo maraming pangarap haha.”
- Kamusta ang iyong pag-aaral?
“I’m currently in senior high school. Sa college, plan ko mag-take ng scholarship sa De La Salle University College of St. Benilde with a course of Bachelor of Arts Major in Music Production or Mass Communication. Dahil inclined ang mga ito sa music.”
- Favorite food?
“Favorite ko ang carbonara, ice cream, fried chicken, at pizza.”
- Least favorite food
“Ampalaya! Kasi hindi ko gusto yung lasa.”
- Music genre?
“Favorite genre ko is Pop Rock and Pop Punk.”
- Favorite artist?
“Zild Benitez and Carl Guevarra.”
- Favorite song right now?
“My current favorite song is ‘Itutulog Na Lang’ by The Juans.”
- Music influences?
“Music influences ko mostly Christian bands like Elevation Worship. Pero malaki din ang influence sa akin ang IV of Spades.”
- Favorite worship song?
“Maraming akong favorite na worship song. But as of now ang favorite ko ay ‘God of Revival’ by Bethel Music Worship.”
- Favorite band?
“The Juans and Ben&Ben”

“Brendon Urie of Panic! At The Disco”
- Favorite person in the world?
“My mom!”
- After Cliché (band), what is your plan as a musician?
“I’m planning to post song covers or original music on social media. And to do collaborations with other musicians.”
- Relationship status
“I’m single.”
- When is the right time for a youth to fall in love and enter into a relationship?
“Para sa akin, a youth’s right time to fall in love is when he is ready. Be the right person first.”
- How do you see yourself 5 years from now?
“Patuloy na gumagawa ng music or mag-speak or preach.”
- What will you tell a fellow youth about God?
“Siguro sasabihin ko sa kanya kung ano pagkakakilala ko kay God and how good He is to me.”
- Who is God for you?
“Para sa akin, si God ang naging tatay ko at best friend ko.”
- What advice will you tell the youth on pursuing their dreams?
“Your time will come, wag ka lang hihinto. Minsan mukhang imposible, minsan parang hindi mo kaya. Pero you will never know kung hindi mo susubukan. Yes mahirap, masakit, nakaka-discourage minsan pero huwag mo hayaan ang mga bagay na ito na mapigilan ka.”
- Advice to your followers?
“Gusto ko sila pasalamatan and i-remind na hindi kayo nag-iisa sa pag-abot ng pangarap niyo. I’m pretty sure na meron kahit isang tao na sasamahan ka at alam kong kaya mo basta ito’y para sa iyo.”

“I am an aspiring musician, influencer, and a follower of Christ.”
